Why did I agree to help out in this lab??? I only pretend to fully grasp the difference between embedded and complement clauses (or when there's a complement at all)! Never completely understanding all aspects of English syntax will truly be the death of me. No wonder I was haunted by syntax trees in my dreams in undergrad.

I am working in the cognition and language lab! I am doing menial tasks! I have discussed doing my thesis with the professor heading up the lab! Wait. What's exciting about a thesis? And I have a key to the lab!

Except for the bit where I don't know what I'm doing with one of my clients...I feel pretty awesome.

Aphasia lab yay!

It's been a really super busy stressful first week back at school.

But! I've felt very good about it and generally happy behind the stress and I-Don't-Know-What-I'm-Doing!-ness.

I'm relieved because I've worried that once things got busy and stressful I'd start hating it. And I don't. And that makes me happy.

Grades are posted.

I'm just not sure what to think of this semester. Adjustments are in order, I guess.

(Also, I'd like to know my exact grade for my final project in research. Hmmmmm.)

Done with neuro is done.

But I'm annoyed that my test scores in that class seemed to be inversely proportional to the amount and effort I put into studying. Grrr.

Two more final exams to go and one prayer that they're better than the neuro final.

Group Member: If you don't know how to cite APA, LOOK IT UP. If you think maybe you might know how but aren't really sure: DON'T WING IT. LOOK IT UP.

Really. Look it up.

I mean, IU offers EndNote free to all it's students to download! Or. Y'know. Just look it up somewhere else! Augh.
